Calibration Blocks with Flat Bottom Holes

Calibration blocks with flat-bottom holes are used for setting acceptance sensitivity, TCG block and depth gauge of ultrasonic flaw detectors during the testing by straight-beam probes.

Calibration blocks with flat-bottom holes have cylindrical shape, step blocks and parallelepipeds of required height. From the side, opposite to the working surface (bottom), a flat-bottom hole is made with predetermined known parameters.

Requirements to calibration blocks with flat-bottom holes (materials, geometrical dimensions, quality and quantity of holes) are shown a corresponding regulatory and technical documentation.
